Behavioural Support

At St Robert's, all students are supported to thrive. Every child has the right to

feel safe and learn with minimised disruption.

Our behaviour support documents outline our shared expectations.

We redirect students when and where possible, if a student needs a reset a

leader will meet with them and assist them.

Families are contacted when appropriate.

At St Robert's we do not discuss other children but are always willing to meet

with families to discuss their child and their needs. We will never share the

process of working with a family with another family so we ask you to respect

the privacy of all students at St Robert’s.

Our parent code of conduct ensures families do not speak about school decisions

or school children outside the school environment, e.g. at a sporting oval or

basketball court.

St Robert's acknowledges students will have private challenges at times and views behaviour as part of the communication students often engage in. With our supportive classroom teachers and leadership, we pride ourselves on understanding each student and their needs.

School-Wide Positive Behaviour Support (SWPBS)

SWPBS is a framework that brings together school communities to develop positive, safe, supportive learning cultures. SWPBS assists schools to improve social, emotional, behavioural and academic outcomes for children and young people.

St Robert’s acknowledges the traditional custodians of this land, the Wadawurrung people of the Kulin Nation.  We pay our respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders both past, present and emerging.
