STUDENT LEADERSHIP

As part of our Senior Leadership Program at St Robert’s, our Year 6 students are asked to consider if they would like to apply for a captaincy, take part in a leadership group or choose to be a role model amongst the students, but not seek a formal leadership role.

Our Leadership structure for 2024 is as follows:

School Captains x 4

House Captains x 16 (4 per house)

Community Group Leaders in the following areas;

  • Languages

  • Social Justice

  • Wellbeing

  • Library

  • Technology

  • Sustainability

  • The Arts

*Class Captains x 4-To be elected early 2024 in class.

These roles will endeavour to give Year 6 students the opportunity to build upon the skills/behaviours they already exhibit everyday, that model our school touch stones of Including, Connection and Acting with Purpose.

At St Robert’s we take great pride in giving every student the opportunity to be a leader, but also acknowledge that not every student wishes to take on the extra responsibilities that come with being a captain and supporting all teachers. A Year 6  T-shirt and  Cap will be presented to each student. Both the cap and T-shirt are a distinguishable feature of our Year Six uniform and carry with them the challenge for all those who wear it, to be exemplary in their behaviour and representative of their respect for school rules and values.
